We have nine Waco YKS-7's ready for restoration! Personally, I consider these aircraft to be flying monuments to the golden age of aviation.

YKS-7 control wheel manufactured in-house by
DRA. The custom metal castings were made just down the street
from the DRA hangar.
Note the N-number etched into the center of the yoke.

restoration.
It will be on its wheels by October 1st, 2011.
The company responsible for the restoration is Desert Rat Aviation in Maricopa, AZ. The owner of DRA, Andrew Estes, has extensive experience rebuilding and restoring aircraft and has a track record of producing award winning work.
Desert Rat is currently involved in several restoration and repair projects, including the restoration of a 1937 Waco YKS-7 and a 1941 Waco UPF-7. Andy has, and is able to work from, over 40,000 (yes, forty THOUSAND) Waco factory drawings for various Waco airplanes, including some plans for the Waco gliders used in World War II. If you're looking for a Waco specialist, look no further!
The titles to all nine airplanes are clean. These are not "experimental" aircraft.
If so, click here and tell me what you're looking for. I'd be happy to help you search for an airplane.
