About Me

My name is John Raatz and I am a commercial pilot, flight instructor (CFI/MEI), and serve as Chief Pilot for a Part 135 charter company.  I hold a single pilot type rating in the SA227 Metroliner series and have +2,800 flight hours with +2,400 PIC, +700 of which is in turbine aircraft.  In December of 2009, I earned my MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business and currently serve as the Chief Pilot and Cessna 200/300/400 series check airman for a charter company in the Phoenix area.  I am also a part 135 flight instructor in the Turbo Commander 690 turboprop.
